Unfortunately we live in a world were some people attempt to use stolen credit cards to purchase goods, and on the internet, this is no exception.
In the interests of our customers and our business we have the following security measures in place to prevent fraudsters trying to use stolen credit cards on this website:
We automatically check the additional 3 or 4 digit security code found on the signature strip on the back of the card.
We automatically check that cardholder's billing address matches the billing address with the card issuer.
Should our processes have flagged a transaction for further investigation, we perform the following manual checks:
Send an email to the email address supplied by the customer to confirm that it exists.
Check that the area code of the phone number matches the address.
Check the customer's name with directory enquiries to verify the address against the telephone number.
Contact the customer on their landline number to confirm the order details and check that the telephone number and customer exist.
Check the IP address of the customer to confirm that the IP Country matches the billing address.
Unfortunately, we are unable to send goods for delivery to hotels or guest houses as these are not classed as permanent addresses.
The billing address on the order must be the cardholder's permanent billing address and must be the address where the card is registered with the card company.
